I'll Admit It

This campaign cycle, I'm no moderate.

I'm still a pragmatist (or more technically, a pragmaticist), but its that sense of reality that is forcing me to confront the basic ugliness of the Obama campaign so vehemently.

To my mind standing up to Obama's vice is a virtue.

But its true, this is no "Mr. Nice Blog."

(And yes...I've gotten emails about what a mean guy I am.)

Of course, you are a moderate. Relative to the extremists, all moderate/normal appear extreme... Opposing this jackass isn't a character flaw, it's a sign of intelligence and discernment on your part. Given the Orwellian campaign to obfuscate the truth about this guy, it's astonishing that anybody is able to overcome it (and of course on mine:)). We are lucky to live in a country where about half of the people have the ability to make the right judgments despite all the misinformation that's about; most other countries would have succumbed by now. Just keep your fingers crossed 'til Election Day...

I'll try to keep that in mind as we go forward. Still, there is little doubt I've got little patience for the worst of the sophistry we hear on a daily basis from the Left.

These are not my father's Democrats. Hell, these are not the Democrats *I* occasionally voted for in the past.
