At least he's honest about it, for a change:

Because I’m capping greenhouse gases, coal power plants, you know, natural gas, you name it — whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, uh, they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money on to consumers.
Gee, would that be the same "Global Warming" which ceased back in 1998?
Hey, maybe after people start to complain about "skyrocketing" energy costs, Obama can calm fear by nationalizing the energy industry.
Not that he's a socialist or anything.
